ZNOJMO BURČÁK TOUR 2026

Znojmo once again demonstrated why it is one of the biggest races in the Kolo pro život series. And, of course, we couldn't miss it. What's more, we had a first to look forward to – Víťa Koňařík took to the start line wearing our colours for the very first time.

This year, however, we had one more reason to do well in Znojmo. Before the race, Pavel Šorf and Klára Tomsová were at the top of their respective categories in the series' overall standings, and it was clear that every point could make a difference. Some rivals were still in a position to threaten their positions.

So we gave it our all. And it worked out brilliantly – just like the weather!

Both Víťa Koňařík and Pavel Šorf secured a superb 3rd place. Klára finished fifth, but more importantly, she beat the rivals who could have really put her under pressure in the overall standings. All three have thus significantly consolidated their fantastic positions in the series.

It's just a shame about Kawas's crash. He rode brilliantly and, despite an unfortunate collision, managed to finish in 5th place. Naďa Kavalírová added a 7th-place finish, David Koželuh came 30th and Daniel Varga 66th.

And as the weather held out until the evening, we rounded off the race day in true Znojmo style – with a traditional glass of burčák. We discussed the races, the results, the crashes, the successes… and, of course, we've already started planning what's next.

Znojmo was a success. Now we just need to see out the rest of the season!
