Saturday racing at Prima Cup in Hradec ended with a podium result

Hey! Hey! So we have finished our first race weekend. Pája and Jarda (our other cyclist) took part in a race in Hradec Králové, which is in the Prima Cup series. Pavel showed great form and in a tough 68 km race he came 3rd in the category. Jarda started on the 47 km long B route and came in 26th place. According to both participants it was a very muddy race.

Pavel evaluated the performance after the race as a good start of the season and gaining the first valuable points for the overall Prima Cup ranking. "The first kilometres before the trail run were very fast and full of puddles and mud. This was followed by about 30 km of playful singletrack, where it became clear who had the bike right in their hands. I was able to hold onto the front positions the whole race. Unfortunately, after making up a small gap, I lacked the strength at the end to hold on to the top spot in the category. In the end, however, I rate 3rd place positively and I am looking forward to the next challenging race in Machov." Pavel evaluated his performance.

Jára also arrived at the finish line satisfied and smiling from ear to ear. According to his words, it was a great, but very difficult and technically demanding race. Anyway, it was a great preparation for the upcoming CPZ in Beroun, where the whole team will meet again. Pavel will then go to the Czech Republic in the marathon in Machov.
