Bikefest Hluboká NOVA SPORT

So we finally met up at the races this year. Despite the poor forecast, our team caravans filled the sports complex in Hluboká on Friday evening.

The LAWI company car, which contained our new team clothing, remained closed on Friday. We had to wait until the morning. Ondra and David brought the box, and our base looked like Christmas Eve. After handing out the gifts, we had a small fashion show and then prepared for the start.

Pavel Šorf and Martin Kavalír took their places at the front of the line, followed closely by David Koželuh. Ondřej Toms was ready to support them from behind as part of the non-competitive trip route. And, of course, the female fans in the team...

Just before the start, the rain stopped and stayed away for the entire race, but the track was still very wet and muddy. In one section, everyone, including the best riders, struggled uphill in the mud. And our guys were among them!

Pavel Šorf took first place in his category and second overall! Martin Kavalír was fifth in his category, just under two minutes off the podium, and David Koželuh took 24th place!

So we got to enjoy a moment of glory at the awards ceremony... With Lawi jerseys, you just go fast. Now we're looking forward to the next race in Holešov.
